These Point-of-Sale (POS) locations are set up by various banks, National Highways fee plazas, Common Service Centres, Regional Transport Offices, transport hubs, and petrol pumps. In order to apply for FASTag, you must submit the below-mentioned documents.
- A duly filled application form for FASTag
- Vehicle Registration Certificate
- Passport size photo of the vehicle owner
- KYC documents for ID and Address Proof –Driving Licence/PAN Card/ Passport
How to purchase FASTagonline?
You can easily buy FASTag online on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon or by visiting websites of different member banks such as Kotak Mahindra Bank among many others.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can purchase FASTag with your preferred bank from the comfort of your home:
Step 1:Visit the official website of the bank and go to the FASTag product page
Step 2:Click on “Apply Now”
Step 3:You will be redirected to a page wherein you will be required to fill in the essential details and upload the required documents. All the documents should be in the vehicle owner’s name
Step 4:After submission of your details, you will have to pay a nominal fee online as per your vehicle category
Step 5:Once the payment is made, you will receive a copy of theFASTag receipt
Step 6:The FASTag will be issued only post the verification of original documents by the bank

If your FASTagis linked to your bank account, then you won’t have to add money separately in a prepaid wallet. All you have to do is to ensure that your FASTag-linked bank account has sufficient balance for toll plaza payment.
